Inkology London offers a wide range of piercings including dermal anchoring, fitting, and removals (see list below).

You must be 16 or over to get a body piercing.  You will need a photo ID to prove this.  If you’re under 16, you must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  You are required to complete a consent form prior to your piercing.

All our piercers are fully trained with over 10 years’ experience so you can expect only the best!

We use one-time only needles that are singular, pre-packed, and disposable.  All jewellery used is titanium in compliance with the EU Nickel directive and is entirely sterile before use.

Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT PARTS OF THE BODY DO YOU PIERCE?

We offer ear, nose, eyebrow, tongue, lip, nipple and navel piercing.

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO GET A PIERCING?

You must be over 16 and bring Photographic ID. If you are under 16, you have to be accompanied by either a parent or guardian.

DO YOU USE NEEDLES OR A GUN?

We use disposable needles for all of our piercings.

What types of jewellery are there?

The main types are rings or bars which can be made from surgical steel, niobium, titanium, PTFE, silver, or gold.  Another popular type is the banana bar, which is curved to fit in a navel piercing.  Small studs are sometimes used in the nose and ears.  New types of jewellery are being created all the time – we recommend you come to peruse our range and be inspired!

CAN I USE GOLD JEWELLERY FOR THE INITIAL PIERCING?

We do not suggest using gold jewellery as it can affect the healing process.  Gold jewellery is used best in fully healed piercings.  If your piercing is doing really well, you need to keep it on this course by continuing your aftercare regime for the recommended duration.  Do Not Change The Jewellery Prematurely!

DO YOU NUMB THE SKIN BEFORE PIERCING?

No, we do not numb the skin before piercing.

HOW LONG DOES A PIERCING TAKE TO HEAL?

This varies from person to person depending on their metabolism and the type of piercing.  The time can range from 6 weeks all the way up to 9 months.  It is also absolutely essential to clean the piercing at least twice a day using Antibacterial Cleansing Solution.  A full aftercare pack is available which will speed up the healing time

I THINK MY PIERCING IS INFECTED; WHAT SHOULD I DO?
